Situated in a condominium by the Regional nature reserve Figueiral-Prainha of Santa Maria Island, in the Azores, the Villa Natura is a Rental House with 3 rooms, and 3 wc´s completely optimized for sustainable tourism, having been awarded the prizes “Miosotis Azores” and “Green Key”. This accommodation offers direct access to Praia Formosa, and 3 of the island’s existing trails.

Villa Natura is equipped with A and A+ appliances and electrical equipment as well as lamps with LED technology and double windows with thermal cut-out, providing maximum optimization of the wood-burning stove heater. In addition, the property is covered with natural cork, equipped with solar water heating and waste separation containers, photovoltaic panels for the production of electric energy, and Sonos sound system throughout the house.

Guests may prepare their own meals using the fully equipped kitchen and the property is surrounded by gardens allowing al fresco meals while contemplating the sea and the surrounding landscape. There is  also a restaurant open all year round 300 meters away.

The nearby beach is a well-known surf spot with clear sand and warm waters. Santa Maria Airport is 6 km away.

Guests can enjoy kayaks, SUP board, surf board, snorkeling equipment, electric bicycles, rock or deep-sea fishing and boat trips.
